PYJ: Casper/Amp

I'll redo his hero drawing later because I honestly hate that one (you don't even understand how much I do ahahaha), I just wanted to get this done in time since I've been so busy!

Summary characteristic: Likes to run.

Powers/Abilities:
Super Speed: Casper has the ability to run much faster than the average Pokemon. It is quite useful and he has a fairly decent handle on it, but he tends to speed up when excited. However, using it too much without rest tires him out quickly, which is why he tends to try and use it as little as possible.

Ability: Volt Absorb.

History:
Growing up, Casper was almost always by himself. He was an only child, and both his parents had jobs working for some big business in the city, leaving them with a pretty long commute. They left early in the morning and returned late at night every day. Casper had a babysitter for when he was young (she was nice enough, but he was such an easygoing kid she often left him alone to play while she watched their TV), but once he hit 10 years of age, they figured he was mature enough to look after himself. He had always been rather responsible.

Due to him being by himself most of the time, when he started school, he had very little clue on how to interact with other children his age. All through elementary school and middle school he was fine with focusing more on his schoolwork then joining a social group. Once high school began, he started to become a bit more interested in the others, and he managed to join a bunch of kids who always ate lunch together and such. He has a few friends, now, who he's been observing to try and learn how to be more of a teenager, but he still doesn't get invited to many events.

He's fine with all of that, though, because while his few friends are appreciated, he stills greatly prefers being by himself, no matter how many times his parents encourage him to join a club, or run for class president. When he gets home from school, he often goes right back outside and to the woods near the end of his neighborhood. He always loved being outdoors, and many times his parents will come home and find him not in the house, even though it was completely dark outside. The first few times they panicked, but now they know what to expect.

It was in those woods he first found out about his super speed. It was the night of his fifteenth birthday. His parents had promised him they'd be home from work in time to celebrate, but when he got home from school he found a message on his phone telling him that they were sorry but something came up and they would have to celebrate another day. Normally, Casper has preferred when they get home late, but after every single day of that, he was looking forwards to spending some time with his parents on his birthday. Naturally he got slightly upset, and decided to go to his precious woods to cool off. The more he thought about it, the more worked up he got, so he broke into a light jog to reach the forest quicker - except that light jog turned into him running faster then he had ever run before, and he arrived at the edge of the woods within seconds. Obviously, he forgot all about his parents, and spent the rest of his night testing his new speediness. Any negative mood towards his parents receded quickly and as soon as they got home he excitedly showed them.

The next morning he woke up sore all over and felt as if he'd gotten 2 hours of sleep instead of his normal 7. He looked so bedraggled his parents let him stay home, and they came to the conclusion it was because he used his speed so much the other day. Now he knows to not use to so much, because he'll feel extremely tired and slightly ill if he does.

The night of Casper's 16th birthday, his parents managed to come home early, but with big grins on their faces. They had been trying to get him to join a group or club at school, to get him more socially active, and since he refused to do that, they had found the perfect activity for him - being a young superhero! They told him all about how Young Justice had an opening, and with his super speed he would be perfect. He wasn't nearly as enthusiastic as they had expected, and told them he'd think about it. Nevertheless, by the end of the day he had decided. Why not? It seemed the perfect place for him to start new, try to be more out there then the kids from school knew him to be, and saving people would make him feel like he was doing something good with his life. The next few months he packed up, and when it was time to leave, said goodbye to his parents, grinning. He was off to his new beginning!


Personality: 
Casper is a very quiet teenager. He's smart, but not a genius, and barely ever raised his hand in class. He preferred observing the other kids and the teachers, to see how they interacted with each other. He's anti-social, but not necessarily by choice. He's fine with that, but he wouldn't mind being invited to a party or just to hang out every once in a while. He's always had a good moral sense of what's right and what's wrong, and he's hoping he can do something right by helping people out as a superhero.

The only time he's even slightly loud is when he's running. Or, using his super speed, that is. If you knew where to find him when he is, you can often hear him letting out loud yells and whoops, zigzagging around the forest. It's completely abnormal for him, but he hopes to become louder and more outspoken, as being quiet doesn't have many perks. He's barely ever scared of anything, only curious, but he is insanely stubborn, to the point of acting thickheaded. It doesn't matter if you show him proof that you're right about something, because he won't ever admit he's wrong. He'll just deny it. He never gets angry, though, at most just irritated. He's very easy-going.

- He also practices being louder and more outspoken to himself

Extra:
- Sometimes sparks fly when he's running especially fast
- He's always wanted either a younger sibling or a best friend
- Has a very good glare if you get on his bad side (which is hard to do, as his bad side is extremely narrow and nearly nonexistant)
- Loves animals, and often tries to convince the forest creatures that he won't hurt them (he doesn't talk to them, of course, but he tries to sit extremely still to get them to come near)
- He's still quiet for the most part, but is much better at things like speaking his mind/flirting/being louder in general
- Don't try to argue with him. Don't. His stubbornness will just bother you.
